Memorial Day & COVID-19

Memorial Day at St. Joseph Memorial Park and Mount Auburn Cemetery

Our community has made sacrifices for everyone’s benefit during this extended time of uncertainty due to COVID-19. While the cemetery grounds will be open to visitors this Memorial Day weekend, our cemetery offices will be closed & our staff will not be on the grounds to assist you this year due to the ongoing pandemic. We deeply regret that we cannot be here in-person to serve you this Memorial Day.

During normal working hours flags will be available in the main office of the funeral home & cemetery to place on veteran’s graves.

For assistance in locating grave locations at St. Joseph Memorial Park only, you can go to www.stjoememorialpark.com By entering the last name and first name of the loved one you are searching for, (i.e. Doe, John) you will be able to find the section, lot and grave of the burial. On the top of the page you will find a link called “Maps” that will assist you in finding the grave. We hope this useful online tool will help you if needed.

If you do visit the cemetery this Memorial Day weekend, please follow social distancing guidelines and help keep everyone safe and healthy.

Thank you for your understanding. We wish you and your families a safe and happy Memorial Day.

General cemetery cleanup will be the Monday following Memorial Day, June 1, 2020.
