Applying for FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Reimbursements

The COVID-19 incident period ended on May, 2023. FEMA WILL continue to provide funeral assistance until Sept. 30, 2025 to those who have lost loved ones due to this pandemic.Applications will be accepted starting Monday, April 12, 2021. Call Covid-19 Funeral Assistance at 844-684-6333 Monday thru Friday 8AM-8PM CST. The application requires:
- An official death certificate that attributes the death to COVID-19
- Funeral expense documents
- Proof of funds received from other sources
